Cowon S9 vs Sansa

Well i love my cowon s9, the features inside are fantastic and it is far nicer than any mp3 player I've ever used. The only downside to it is the volume. It's awful. Maxed out on 32 its not even close to being high enough through anything other than earbud headphones. 33-40 there is no difference in volume, even remotely.

I am debating on selling this and buying a Sansa 8gb + a 16gb micro SD card, as well as a smaller portable amp so it fits nicely into a pocket. Is this wise?
I cant fit the cowon with an amp into my pocket. I am very saddened by this.

I bought it with a 1yr full replacement plan. But its beyond 30 days and I cant get a refund, I can only get a new one if this is broken....ugh this isnt fair.

sounds odd ,the d2(only 7mw a channel more) can blow my head off witout an amp with the ultrasones and quite afew other headphones (although i always use my amp)
have you reinstalled the firmware?
if worst comes to worst maybe they would sell well on ebay, even with the fault declared

Your problem with the volume maxing at 33 might be the region cap if you set it to Europe when you first used it.
