£150 upgrade?

Thinking of injecting £150 ish into my setup with sq being the main consideration ,memory wise im easily pleased.
im using Cowon d2 2gb with 4gbsd caffine ultra amp and hfi780s
im thinking not in any order of preferance
1. buy s9
2.buy amp3 pro2 (but those firmware issues!!!)
3.telecast t51 for the dual dacs and lo (again firmware ,may be better to wait for the rebrand)
4. sony x series
5.new amp? (but im still amping an amp)
6.used iriver ih120/140 plus a hifidiy.net with optical out

happy with the setup tbh maybe there would be no real upgrade in my choices ,my heads hurting now

buying a different kind of headphone will make the biggest difference to sound quality. grado, sennheiser's etc.

want to stick with the ultrasones they are amazing
looking at the prices sony £169 16gb
cowon s9 £200
thinking i could try an x and easily sell on at cost if need be
amp3 ,may get a bad one
cowon better ? or is it just bbe3 doing the work
