But almost everything I make and want to make require flexibility.
yeah, i've used navships wire too and run into the same problem. too stiff and difficult to strip the teflon, which is why i was suggesting the mogami.

the only problem is, the difference between SPC and audio-grade solid silver, is at least 10%.

For the first project, may I suggest trying some 26awg solid OFC/teflon wire ?

Regarding my chassis wire: is the solid core 22 AWG OFHC copper wire with unbleached cotton insulation from Homegrown Audio a good idea? I don't know what the cotton insulation looks like, is it easy to remove? Is it worth it buying such a wire for a p2p project?

The HGA copper wire is very good for the money, I used to use the 22awg before switching to 5n and OCC copper. Cotton insulation is not very hard to strip so I'd imagine it would work well for your application.

Well, I've looked on the shipping prices page... No more HGA for me unless I decide to spend more on some other stuff as well. Paying $40 for shipping for a bit of wire makes the ~$60 price for air shipping a couple of Conrad heatsinks from Australia to Romania look quite reasonable. So I'm back to my first question: is UTP cat6 wire reasonably good for a high end amp's internal wiring?

Wow, $40 shipping for just the wire? I guess they can easily squeeze it in a USPS Priority Flat Rate Box which is only 12.95$ for worldwide shipping.

Sure, if you believe in that sort of thing. If you can hear it that's great, but I have a feeling the OP would be 99% as happy with SPC than he would be with "audio-grade" solid silver.
