The best i've dealt with is by far Electric Avenues. Gary provides top class customer service. You can tell that he really cares about his customers.

Thanks, List Updated

With the knowledge that this thread is subjective I can say that Beyerdynamic has a very good communication either by phone or mail. Maybe thats why I am living in Germany but I used their service quite a lot in the past weeks. On the other hand Ive seen that Sennheiser doesnt make such big efforts to help. But as I said that this is my subjective opinion and maybe because of the fact that I am living in Germany. Besides this I can highly recommend Meier Audio, Donald North, Blue Circle Audio, Thomann, Redco Audio.

I am in the lucky circumstance that I havent had bad communication or support with anybody up to now :).

Thanks for your input, list updated.

I can update the list to move Beyerdynamic Germany to good and include Sennheiser Germany to the poor ones, if you want me to.

The thing with Sennheiser Germany was that I asked for some connectors for the HD 650 using the phone and from this point of view the person wasnt really interested in helping me and I have only got the answer that I have to buy a cable instead. No advices to e.g. Cardas and so on. Maybe I wouldnt do it to the poor ones because their is no representative population to act in this way. Perhaps there are other users who had contact with Sennheiser Germany to create an opinion.

Otherwise I have to confess that I am really happy with the HD 800 and must say that Sennheiser has done a brilliant job :) :) .

I've had a good experience with Vitaly of 1964 Ears. I've sent him a couple of emails asking about his custom iems and he's been quick to respond and very helpful.

They're new.(and something of a FOTM in some threads) but I liked how he answered my questions.

Hearing Components is a first class company with excellent customer support.

I thought lawton audio did a good job of communicating. I even had a problem and he shipped them both ways for free to be repaired.

Eddie currant though slow with his rollout of products was always quick to responding to my many emails.

Red wine audio, Emperical audio, and Herbies (tube dampeners) I have found to go above and beyond expectations many times in helping repair, aquire, and just general info both through email and through there forums.

I would say Ayon audio communication is poor. I dont know if it is because they are in austria or not, but it is like pulling teeth to get info out of them.

Oh yeah, Apple. poor customer service if you ever want something done or need an answer for a proble with it.

I think it's a different vendor Lawnton Audio not Lawton.

And yes Vinne and Steve are first class.

As for Apple well you know now, is your server up and running?

Put Schiit on the good list. Amazing communication at any hour of any day.

I'm casting a vote for JH audio in the Very poor list for their ongoing horrid handling of their JH3A release.

this one definitely goes under worst customer service experience ever!

Both already on there, but absolutely worth mentioning again after putting up with all my questions, and still providing amazing customer services going above and beyond the call.

RSA (Ray Samuals)

Whiplash Audio (Craig Sanborn)

Really 100% I honestly couldn't ask for more. Craig has been working with me through-out my whole selection, ensuring I get the right cables for my applications and even getting an a specialty item that he doesn't normally sell so I would save on shipping.

Thumbs Up!

My RSA amp arrived in 3 days from the US to my door. Absolutely amazing!

On the other hand. Whiplash still has not delivered anything.

I have sent Craig 6+ emails and got not 1 reply.

Please change my response from Positive to Negative for Whiplash and Craig. I spent $1200 and still haven't received an item or a response from Craig. Terrible customer service post sale. Buyer beware!

Companies that have been great to me: HeadRoom, TTVJ, B&H, J&R, and Eddie Current.

Companies that have mistreated me: None. I've had good experiences. smily_headphones1.gif

Though I haven't done business with them, I would trust Ray Samuels and Donald North because I know them.

Though I won't single anyone out, I've had only good experiences at Audiogon. The people I've bought from have been wonderful. Two invited me into their homes during pickups and were great. Others have sent extras and been wonderfully nice. Same goes for the people I've bought from at Head-Fi. The people I've sold to at Head-Fi have been great, too.

I love this hobby. smily_headphones1.gif
