Dislike Yuins - have you tried OK1 amped? I doubt you will miss for CM700 if you try.

you said in the earbuds comparison threads that cm700 has even bigger soundstage than pk1/ok1, instrument speration on par with OK1, but OK1 is more 3d sounding. Can you provide more details on excatly how cm700 in terms of soundtadge width/depth/instrument seperation/placement compares to OK1/OK2? (it seems that cm700 beats ok2 in every aspect by a substancial margin, yet you said OK2 and cm700 are on par). Thank you.

depth: OK1 > OK2 >> CM700 (too shallow)
instrument separation: OK1 >= CM700 > OK2
placement: OK1 > OK2 >= CM700 (due to the depth lacking)
smth like this, if my memories serve me well

I tried AKG K319 day before and these sounded very similar to newer AKG K313 (there are older K313, I am talking about newest white K313)
Since I am really unexperienced, has someone else heard K313s?
I may be wrong but, AFAIK, the K318 tops the new range of "improved" buds with the K313 coming in second and qualifying as "high performance" whilst the lower ones are only "performance" buds. Possibly the new K313 is quite close to the old K319 in performance and quite cheaper as well. K318 is also much cheaper.
I may try them at some point. Not just yet though as I should have an M2C coming(from the loaner thread) and Jack from Hisound has sent me a pair of LIVE buds. When I find a deal on them I'll pick a pair of the K318. My current PMX680 and KPH13(half of the KDE250) are already better than the PK2 as were the loaner pairs of M2C.
As I said, I've never heard the K319 but it doesn't seem to be that great in the current market(the last post is over 2 years old) and I do not feel it a stretch to think you are hearing right that the 313 are similar. A new range comes in and should be better and cheaper.

I must say i didnt try K318, but it seemed to me these could be same as K313 with microphone and volume control added. I checked AKG site and they have same specs.... And the price difference is not that big.
As for AKG K319, I saw mixed reviews. From average to excellent but with too high price (over 100$ - I d say mostly due to unnecessary addons like 2 cables, volume control big carrying bag... ) but recently I found these 70% reduced price!
