It's the Buffalo32s DAC. It's configured to used as a headamp too. And yes, both SE and balanced input. The SE input is already mind-blowing, best sound I've heard with the JH13s.

Now I have to wait for Jerry's new balanced cable.

do you think the iqube v2 could drive some dx1000 and is there a better portable usb dac than the pico,, is the pico the best usb dac on the planet?

The v2 definitely has enough power to drive the DX1000.

Are you talking about the Pico usb DAC only?
