iPod Touch 3G: amp or not ?

Hi,

I'm going to buy an ipod touch 3g. But i'm also interested in the Ultrasone DJ1(32 ohm) and DJ1 pro (64 ohm).
Will an LOD + amp, probably iBasso T3 (wich is supposed to sound better than the T4), improve the sound quality with these headphones or is the iPod good enough ?

Not good enough, you'll need an amp for a better SQ. It'll also help your cans. (I don't own the thing though, so you should wait for other opinions). The 32 Ohm can will be loud enough without an amp though.

Depends how you gain your music...I just gained down all my music to 89 and now I need the High Gain switch on my amp...IPC LOD'd
