Looking for a small and affordable amplifier for my shure se530's

Hello everyone, I am looking for a portable amp to be used with my ipod nano and my shure se530's in order to increase output volume on some songs that were recorded at low volumes, and to enhance the quality of the playback. My budget is 200 $ and I am looking for something branded that I could find here in lebanon or in the united arab emirates. I know there are loads of amps out there, but unfortunately, you can only recommend me branded amps with dealers near me because buying online is not an option. Also, do you think it would be a worthy upgrade to the setup I already have? Thanks!

It's worthy if you use an Line-Out. I'd guess it would be pretty hard finding a local store selling portable headphone-amps. Atleast one that gives you what you pay for. The new iBasso T3 is out. Said to be one of the best amps for IEMs. Grab the LO cable while you're at it.

Thanks for the info, I've just received my university mail box today, so ordering online is now an option. On the iBasso website, they do not ship to Lebanon which is the country I live in, so i wonder if you knew other websites I could order from that ship to Lebanon for a reasonable price? Also, what accessories should I get with it? You mentioned the LO cable, but I am not familiar with it. Thanks!

You really should be looking in the "for sale" section to get the best value for $200. You should have looked in there sooner considering you were also asking 11 months ago.

I am not interested to buy used amps from this website. Only new ones from websites that deliver to Lebanon. Thanks!

Go to Radioshack. In aisle 4, left hand side, halfway down, you'll find the Ahole amp. It is a great amp and should suit you well.

LOD is a Line-Out fucntion out of your ipod that provides an un-amplified signal, giving single ampplification from your portable amp instaid of dual amping from both your source and amp. Crap in Crap out.
