If I were you, I 'd say to her:
Darling, I'd like to attend a concert, there are 3 possibilities for the tickets; one is at full price,
one is 33% off; and one is 44% off, which kind of ticket do you think I should take?

Or you can promise to do housekeeping all nine days of concert.

Very interesting.

$100 dollar seems to be pretty reasonable.

IMO $20 for one is reasonable, $100 for 9 recitals is outstanding. I can't see all of them anyway because I'm going to Götterdämmerung on the 15th. And as I said in the OP, my wife wouldn't be happy about me being gone so many nights in a row.

I wish I could sympathize, but my wife would be thrilled if I were gone for that many nights in a row.
