SOLD: Balanced Bijou

Selling my balanced Bijou, with the following specs:

dual power boards, and 4 amp boards - fully balanced / differential.
Furutech F XLR inputs (only), Neitrik XLR output.
TKD 100k 2CP-2508
Hammond 270HX
Obbligato coupling caps
Fused IEC

In addition to the two tubes of each type in the amp (fully burned in):
Four ez81 rectifiers
Sixteen 6n1p
Twelve 6n6p



This amp has a LOT of gain - I can rarely listen past 11 o'clock with Sennheiser (hd6x0 or hd800), and it CAN drive the k1000 to accepteble levels.

This has been a daily player for me for the past year, but I have a replacement coming on line. This amp is dead quiet, and has a very nice soundstage, which is a signature of all Bijous.

Asking (less than) the price of my parts, $old, shipped CONUS.

Yes, it was a labor of love, but with 7 amps, I am making hard choices.

I listened to the HE-5 with this amp yesterday, and it is one of the few amps to really _drives_ them well. An absolutely beautiful combo.

One note: This amp will require a balanced source - RCA -> XLR adapters will not work.

Spring cleaning - time for a new source, and fewer amps. There are $125 in spare tubes included.
