They just came and they fit perfectly. Easily the most comfortable headphones I've ever tried on, except maybe some Stax that cost dozens of times as much. Still deciding how the sound stacks up to the 555s. Thanks for the thoughts.

SEE PROS & CONS. NOTE: The clamping factor will obviously differ from person to person, but I'm surprised to find little mention of it, as it is the sole reason I'd never think twice about...

When I listened to the sound for the 1st time, I was hit by it. I was punched by the not-punchy-bass. I was hoping it would offer much better bass response than SE315.. equals to Klipsch Image...

Ad700's have a "burn-in" period if you want to call it that with comfort. The first day they hurt my jaw really bad. 2nd day was considerably better and the 3rd day they fit perfect.
I bought both headphones at the same time and after a week period the ad700's are better in every aspect unless you really hate the pink/purplish color.
The 555's out of the box feel every range has been EQed louder. The ad700's feel neutral and able to create any music experience you want. For me the bass was a little lacking so I eqed it slightly higher and now they fit my exact needs.
