You really need to do a Google and check out the specs of the players people are recommending to you. The D2/D2+ have some of the highest HP outputs available ATM for a portable DAP. Do a little research, it goes a long way. And considering your choice in HP's your not a nOOb either.

For those of us who *dont* live in Asia, I only have one question : where is the English language version of this mythical player ?? Its great to tell us about a fantastic new player, but the thing needs to be available for sale .....

Not "mythical" at all; it's been out for over a month in China and the interface supports English out of the box. True, though, that Teclast does not distribute their products globally. If you are interested, you have to check out one of the websites that specialize in Chinese players; all of them will be shipping their stock out of Hong Kong or Guangdong. Other companies have rebranded previous players from this OEM, so if you want to wait, look for that to eventually happen with the T51 as well. It's doubtful they'll add anything to the firmware beyond a customized home screen, though.

For a pretty darn small MP3 Player.. I love my Zune HD, for smaller than that I would go for the last gen iPod Shuffle (The one with the buttons)

SQ wise, the Hifiman 801. But you need to wait for quite a long time because you'll be in batch 3 the earliest and the shipping of the batch 1 hasn't been finished yet.
