Yes, I have the new KISS CD Sonic Boom. I've been a KISS Fan for more than 30 years. I think Sonic Boom is a great new album from KISS; their best in many years. It's great to see them back and on the Road again.

I like some of their stuff but I always view their music as simple high school rock and roll...

Kiss are a joke. Gene Simmons is a disgusting sellout of massive proportions.

I will be at the KISS show later this month. I have never been to a KISS show. All my friends say that they hated KISS until they saw them live. I have loved KISS for a long time. The classic KISS up to Dynasty is my bag. It is simple rock that I just love the guitar and drums to. Pauls vocals are great too.

This new LP is a return to purpose and form for these guys. They became the classic KISS. The only thing that is missing is Ace's solos. No one can replace Ace no matter who they are or how hard they try. KISS gets a lot of bad heat just for being what they are. You love them or hate them there is not a lot of in between. A lot of music snobs love to flame them as simple and stupid. That is fine. They are strange in a way with the makeup and all. The one thing that no one can deny is the many years of making people happy and making a lot of money. I believe there is a truth in just that fact. To me the magic is in the KISS sound which once you get use to them is easy to hear and understand. They are the classic 70s band with guitar solos and drum solos on all their live LPs. One big plus in the pure output we have to choose from. Kissology DVD Box sets X3. The whole group of LPs and Cds out there puts most bands to shame with the volume of work. Remember they have been a band from 1972 on and have never really put out a bad record. In a world of one hit wonders these guys keep on going showing the kids how it is done. My advice to the KISS haters of the world is get Rock And Roll Over. Get a little beer and you may get a vibe of the KISS family. It is real and it will be around for a while.

I agree with everything you said here about KISS. I'm sure you will really like the Concert. I have seen them Live a few times; with and without makeup and they really do put on a great Live show. I think a lot of people that don't like KISS do not know enough about them and their history as a band. A lot of people look at them as just Cartoon Characters; but, KISS is a real band of real Musicians and Songwriters. Just listen to KISS Alive! from 1975 and the proof is there.

Of all the bands I liked when I was 12, these are about the only ones I still like.
