I'm waiting for someone who have opinion about both their soundstage, depth and imaging.

he5 has already available in our local store ( well faaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr away... across state local store ), maybe I can skip work for couple of days to check it out, but I cant just bring my ß22 over there.

Any news??

When I went to www.audeze.com to check if anything is happening yet, I was asked for a userid & password??????

Yeah this happened to me a few days ago - must be some sort of continued work on the website
post #142 of 18459
yep..looks like they're reworking the website. maybe a sign that the LCD2 is nearly ready?!
It's been down for weeks, this is strange to me. Why not just put a "coming soon" on the LCD-2 page?
Website is back up and running, which is a good sign. Emailed about it this morning and he says they're "getting close" to having the LCD-2 ready for release.

How come no announcements or news of any kind here???

I supposed the LCD ear pads can fit the Omega or you can put the O2 drivers into those without problem.

(Woody O2's, anyone?)

Just my usual evil way of thinking, I guess....

How do they lock the antennas, anybody know? In a Grado just the friction is enough, but these ortho drivers are supposed to be super heavy (from my limited experience with the YH100).....

Question for those of you that have heard it before.... does the LCD-2 have more (quantity-wise) bass than a 600 ohm Beyer 990?

that ain't gonna happen. well, having only heard the LCD-1 and the 600 as well as 250 ohm beyers, I am willing to bet (but not certify) that it ain't gonna happen. not that this should be seen as a bad thing at all, though.

From the reports we heard on the LCD2 prototypes they were described to have strong bass. Also Audeze claims their bass response is something crazy from their plots.
Considering this is an entirely different headphone including drivers/housing/pads to the LCD-1 I think its not correct to infer LCD2 bass reponse from the LCD1.

(ofc I cannot claim anything either having heard none myself, just waiting for Audeze like you all)
