This band is beyond words. Listen to Oceanic, it might be a little heavy but that didn't stop me from enjoying the album. If that kind of stuff turns out to be something you might enjoy, give Pelican's The Fire in Our... a try.

Second the Isis and Pelican recommendations. Although I would recommend going with Pelican: Australasia rather than the The Fire in Our Throats. I think Australasia is the definitive Pelican album.
