Logitech USB Headset

I got this thing when I was in an online class at work several years ago and ever since I've been using it to listen to music at work. The sound is actually pretty clear over the mids and highs, though being what they are, they do lack bass.

However, I was just thinking about this. I plug the thing into the USB jack and just start listening. Then I think. wait, USB is digital. Soo... that little black box about 8 inches up the cable from the USB jack must be some kind of D/A converter?

Hmm, I just never thought of it that way. I forget that it has a microphone, I just fold it up over my head.

Anyone else use these to listen to music? Not bad, not bad at all.

I use them for general computer use, listening to some music and mostly for VoIP purposes. For more serious listening, I use my IEM's.
