Thought they putting their "well known" balance armature driver that was used on sa6 into the sa1..

Guess that explains the hole below the iem near the plug
thats a hole right ?

This make me wonder.. is it *impossible*.. *impractical* for putting balance armature drivers in woody iems ??
So far all 3 woody iems that I came across are all using dynamic drivers =(

I'm not entirely sure, but from what I've noticed it seems like BA drivers are self-contained and would not benefit from the sonic properties of wood. Dynamics on the other hand aren't so their sound waves can resonate and reverb off the wood.

Just some thoughts, someone please correct if that's wrong.

Hmm.. sounds logical.
Judging from the amount of R&D made in other areas like darthbeyer.. denon..sony r10.. much research have been done on their wood housing.
Haha, guess its pointless to put BA drivers in wood iems then.
