Please try to know how smart you are

Quick Eye Exam...

This will blow your mind...!

Just do it -- don't cheat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try this its actually quite good.

But don't cheat!

Count the number of F's in the following text:

! FINISHED FILES ARE THE
RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC
STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

Managed it?

Scroll down only after you have counted them!

! OK?

How many?

Three?

Wrong, there are six -- no joke!

&! nbsp; Read again!

FINISHED FILES ARE THE
RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC
STUDY COMBINED WITH THE
EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

The reasoning is further down...

! The brain cannot process the word "OF".

Incredible or what?

Anyone who counts all six F's on the first go is a genius
Three is normal.

lol..auch...someone fix my brain

Sad. I read it at least 5 times and still got 3. LOL.

Our brain doesn't process on a deep enough level the word of. It just kind of gets recognized and skipped over.

I would propose that the opposite is true. Less intelligent people that actually have to focus on each word would do well on that little test. Also, kids would do well also because they will read each word up untill a certain age.

It is just the way the mind works. The better a reader you are the less processing of words like "of" that you have to do.

I counted 6
Sadly, not because I'm a genius, but because I'd already seen something like this before...

i counted five, i missed the second "of." and like PeterR, i was forewarned about these puzzles because of a previous test...

He he, that's nice... I counted *five* on the first time - you WARNED us there is something funny about it so I expected "something"... Only the second and third time (I checked to be sure) I counted *six*. I tried not to pay any attention to the words - just counted the letters. As a matter of fact, now that I'm thinking, if you ask me WHAT the sentence said - I don't know even now... It must be that one (the counting) must come on the expense of the other (the understanding) - or viceversa...

i counted five too. weird...

i counted 6 first time.

not heard of one of these tests before.

it said counts the f's, so i paid attention and i did.

but i'm no genius

Try reading it backwards it is easier to count them that way.
I counted 4, but the true tragedy lies within a fact that I alerady knew about this.
I got all 6 the first time I did this, but that was years ago. I didn't have any problem this time around either, I just focus on each letter and not the words no genius is required!

Counted six the first time, probably because I counted letters instead of reading the words
