First post, go easy on me

Ive had these for 4 years or so in stock form, thought about selling them but decided to have some fun in the workshop.

Still a few things id like to do, i need some mesh, and i might recable them. All good fun.

Sound is a tricky one, im a total skeptic, I made these for a bit of fun and so they would look cool. However, im convinced they sound better , bass seems a little better, it seems to have more impact, i wish i had a way of measuring responce before and after.

This is how they started out

i hand turned them on my lathe

Great work on the lathing those cups and enjoy your modded 125's!

Wow! Excellent job on the cups. I wish I had the talent and equipment to do something like this. Now you need to come up with a new rod clamp and cup holder assembly to make them all aluminum.

Thats the plan, and a new headband, maybe some pretty cable. I have a design in mind for the rod clamp, maybe using some nice thumb screws.

Excellent lathe work! I look forward to seeing the rest.

Does anyone know where edd9000 could find a beautiful screen to put into those cups? Something chrome like the HF-2's would look beautiful.

ARe those things heavy? Slap on a JMoney V3 headband and you got a winner!

certainly heavier than before but dont seem to be that bad. Could certainly do with a more padded head band.

edd9000 check out the leather headbands made by Jeremy of JMoney. He has an sponsored thread. Nice work and good luck.
