Your Welcome.

Has anyone tried cutting the bowls to create something half-way between the bowls and the flats? I'm not sure if one should use a hot wire or a sharp blade, or what.

I have used a hot wire on the bowls,They are not that easy to cut & very hard to cut evenly. Plan on ruining a few pairs to get them right.

In other words, it's probably cheaper just to buy a pair of flats

Got the flats on Monday, I prefer them over the bowls. Thanks Todd.

MMMmmm, they make the music sound so good! Long live flats.

Just got my flats and interestingly, I don't really like how they make my SR325's sound (they muddy up the sound somewhat although improve the bass response).

However, they REALLY make my SR80's sound terrific.

It's entirely possible that my 325's are not totally broken in, but for now the bowls sound better on 'em.

Go figure.

I have had my flats for two weeks. They are very nice with some music and not so great with other music. The bass sound a lot better with the flats except the highs are a little more muddy. The flats are a lot more comfortable. I like them. Todd shipped them out at the speed of light.

Placed my online order on Monday night, the flats were at my house on Thursday when I got home from work!

They are a huge improvement over the bowls on my 125s.

Thanks Todd, for your speedy delivery, and for having the darn things in the first place!

I quite enjoy the flats, although further listening is required, I believe the improvement is markedly noticeable.
