Help - What did I fry?

Thread Starter
Hello, I recently was modding my DAC and accidently put 01UF input caps(digital input, coupling capacitor, connected to SPDIF COAX) instead of 001UF, now all I get is static, I installed the 001 back, but it does no good. What do you think got fried? Everything downstream? thus, the whole damn thing? well ****. I'll never make that mistake again.

Replacing a 0.001uf with a 0.01uf shouldn't have fried anything. Take a real close look at solder joints, traces, pads, etc. Perhaps something is not connected?

yeah I cant see this by itself to have fried your VALAB Mike, do as Pars says and check the rest of the joints
