Best Porcupine Tree Studio Album? - Page 3

i'd probably have voted for 'Stars Die' but alas, it wasn't in the poll so i went with Lightbulb Sun. Fear of a Blank Planet has certainly been spun many a time though - it's got some great material and i love the way Gavin Harrison drums. he just adds so much to their sound - he really propels the band. he was really good working with king crimson the last time i saw them

Seeing as In Absentia was the beginning of the end for the good era of PT, I can't go with anything IA or later. With IA they started incorporating modern rock and metal sounds and just started sounding rather bland and emotionally shallow. I'll have to go with Stupid Dream.

Deadwing is a great start.

In Absentia and Fear of a blank planet are a bit better tho.
