I'm interested in the phones only if you're willing to separate them. Is this the new version of the HD650?

International?

From what I can tell, they are the newer silver edition. It's a little hard to make out from the pictures due to the grill.

And I'm interested in the cable only.

<<<BUMP>>>

I'm sorry I haven't checked-in in a while.

I haven't been feeling too well

The Zu Mobius cable is SOLD!!

But the 650's are still available for $300, including shipping. Although I'm <I>slightly</I> willing to negotiate.

Anyways, let me know by email or PM. Thanks for looking!

PS>>>Oh and about my 650's being the newer, silver version... I don't think it is the newer version... although, I've never seen what the silver version looks like?? My 650's look as if they're more grey rather than silver.

But I'm pretty sure my pair is of the 1st gen 650. I bought them anywhere from 6-12 months after Senn released them... I can't remember the exact date.

You can check if they're the newer version by removing the ear pads and seeing if the driver is silver.

I'm wondering if there's any other way to chack to see if my 650's are the silver version??

Either way, I'm sure both versions sound the same... the only difference being aesthetic.

I'd prefer to avoid to have to remove the ear-pads because I implmented the nylon-stocking mod... which is where you remove the foam that covers the driver, and very delicately replace it with some thin nylon stocking.

For me, the mod took a lot of time and patience to pull and stretch the nylon over the driver to get it to where I liked it. Then, after I stretched it to the point where I was satisfied, the last step that you have to achieve is to hold the nylon in place, and then somehow push the earpads back in their place without losing grip of the nylon!!!

While it is a rather nerve-racking experience, it does end up being worth it. The sound simply intensifies and the overall presentation becomes more upfront and in your face... essentially a more forward sound. I guess it's basically because there's simply less material between the drivers and your ears?

Anyways, I'm still wondering about some of the people who have already expressed their interest in buying my 650's? I've received PM's from 5 or 6 people ever since I officially sold off the Zu cables. But that was last week I think... and it's strange that I haven't heard a single word from any one of them??

So, with that said... I guess I'm going to have to give these sweet cans a little price drop. But this is the only time I'm going to do such a thing. I really do need the money badly as I have some hefty medical bills to pay for

I think $275, plus shipping is a resonable price.

The other day, when I sent off the ZU cables, the shipping charge was $10.48!!! It's been quite awhile since I've shipped anything like this... but I never would have thought that the prices would have sky-rocketed as much as they have?!?!

Anyways, I'll stop my rambling now... if anyone has any questions about the quality of the headphones, most of that specific info is still up back on page 1 in my 1st post. But if there's anything else, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanx for your interest
