>>>MINT Senn HD650 w/ Zu Mobius upgrade cable v.1<<<

I hate to have to do this, but I very badly need the cash.

I bought both, the headphones and the upgrade cable together approx 2-3 yrs ago. I used them sparingly at first... that is, until I came to the conclusion that the 650's just weren't for me. I just didn't ever seem to connect with the "Senn sound"... I like a more lively presentation that the Shure SE530's, for example, provide.

As for a detailed description of their history of use...
I've only used them sparingly, in the beginning/during the 1st 6 months, for short periods of time. So honestly, I would say that they haven't been used in over 1 1/2 yrs!

All of my headphones, and my other hi-fi electronics for that matter... they are all in pristine/mint condition. It's just how I treat my hi-fi products. You might say that when it comes to electronics/hi-fi, I have an OCD/neat-freak-like condition. I literally feel uncomfortable and "out of place" when a hi-fi component that I own is dirty or "not new" condition. To sum it all up, these headphones are in like-new condition, guaranteed, not a scratch to be found!!

The only reason regarding why I even held onto them for this long was because I thought that maybe in the future, I'd upgrade a few other components in my setup to maybe, possibly improve or bring-out some of the hidden characteristics that might have been hiding behind some of the weak points in my setup. But, you have to have money to do something like that... money I don't have

Although I am going to start saving up, slowly but surely, to buy the HD800's some day in the very distant future

Anywho, I'd like to sell them together at 400 even... I paid over $225 for the cables alone and they do in fact make a noticeable difference.

Unfortunately, I learned too late that if you're the type that doesn't like the "Senn sound," no amount of $200-500 cables can change that. But if you do like the characteristic "Senn sound," these headphones certainly will fill that need.

As far as pictures go... I don't have access to a digital camera at this point in time, but I am working on it. If you don't know what the 650's look like, simply head on over to headphone.com and take a look at their beautiful pics of the 650... my 650's will look exactly like that!

So yeah, I would like to get $400 even for both the cables and headphones(stock cable included). However, if anyone wants to make any kind of different offer, let me know and we might be able to work something out.

Thanx for looking

Forgot to add in the "FS" in the title. Sorry.

will you consider selling the cable separately?

Forgot to add a few important things... you can tell I do this often

From tip to tip, end to end, the Zu cable is 8' 4"
I don't know if that's 2.5 meters or not? I'm not too smart when it comes to converting measurements.

Also, I do have and will ship the headphones in its original case/silver box with all of the foam padding protecting it... as it was when I bought it new.

Speaking of foam... I thought that you might like to know that the foam earpads on the headphones are not at all worn in or padded down from extended use. They have the very same firmness as they did the day I first oped the box and put them on.

And then, one last thing... there is the 1/4" to 1/8" adapter included in with everything else.

darkmatter,

If you don't mind, I'd like to wait a bit more so that more people can have the chance to take a look... I posted this 'for sale' thread only a few hours ago.

If continue to bump this thread for a little while longer, and nothing happens, we'll definitely talk.

So keep an eye out, and thanx for your interest

Sorry I haven't been around... I've been a little under the weather.

I also have been trying to locate/barrow a digital camera.

Well, I finally found one, and I'll be posting some pictures of the Zu Mobius cable & HD650 sometime tomorrow!!

Let me know if you're interested, and thanx for looking

OK, I know it's weird, but I've never posted pictures like this directly onto a forum/post.

So, lets hope this works... ??

here is my Zu Mobius cable for the HD650/600! Sorry about the quality. I don't own my own digital camera, and the camera I did use/barrow is not the best at capturing details/colors/etc..

I do have a few more shots of my Zu Mobius cable... although they're not that much different from what you see here...

but if anyone wants me to post the other shots/pics, let me know

How much for the cable alone, if you're willing to sell without the HD-650's?

Here is my Senn HD650! As with the picture above of the Zu cable, again, these pics don't really do these headphones justice.

If I had a better camera, you would know what I'm talking about.

But, I did the best with what I have. Here's a couple of what I think are the best pics of my HD650... enjoy

Are these the new silver version 650's? That will help your sale. I'm still interested in just the cables.

My wallet doesn't even have a physical form anymore. This is a really good deal. I'm surprised no one has jumped on it yet.
