Bass? UM3Xs do provide enough bass, mid and treble. To my ears, they sound 'balanced', not exagrating any part of the sound spectrum. Only the spectrum around 4-7kHz is clearly LESS than my bright IEMs (PFEs). After several months using them, I also like that kind of sound signature. Not bad actually, because I can hear more things clearly than before.

agree with you, these day I use Comply P-tip to give PFE (gray filter) a little more bass and warm up the mid and high a bit after getting so used to UM3X (olive) signature
