Calling all New Yorkers - good resource for (indie) concert listings in NY?

Hey all,

I'm going to be staying in New York for 2 or 3 weeks in December, and am excited to check out the music scene when I'm there. Where can I find a comprehensive listing of all the NY concerts? Ticketmaster and LiveNation are pretty much just the big shows, which don't really interest me for the most part. I found Oh My Rockness, they seem pretty good but I just feel like there's gotta be more than what they have listed. I guess I'm looking for the Zulu Records equivalent of New York.

Thanks in advance!

I assume you're still looking... It's not really an organized listing but take a look at brooklynvegan.com, will have all the NYC music scoop down to the very indie stuff - which is usually in Brooklyn, but it will tell you stuff going on throughout the metropolitan area.

I forgot...also look at The Bowery Presents - Live music in New York / Albany / Boston / New Jersey, they present a lot of indie and your finer signed bands at varying size venues in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
