Amarra Computer Music Player
Well, I finally gave in. They have a new demo that played Apple Lossless, so I was easily able to switch between Amarra and iTunes without having to convert my library. It took a while to really hear the difference but I found a few good songs that made it easier to hear. Guitar and vocals are clearer. Also seems to have a little more sense of space. Still can't figure out how it can actually sound better. I guess this will be something to test if anyone's interested at the next meet. Not many of use Macs though.

Still hope to hear the PS1000 at one of these meets.

Maybe a joint Seattle/Portland meet in Centralia,WA mid January?. The have a cool old library but thier website does not specifiy scheduling options. Only a phone number.

I live too far away to organize but maybe Big Poppa can get together with sachu or dBel84 in Portland.

I'd be up for such a meet. Great chance to hear other equipment. Seems like a good center point between the two cities and even the name itself states that.
