I'm not primarily a Mac user, so I don't know what the root cause might be. But the first thing I would do is try to get the file(s) backed up, off that card. Suggestions:

- Make the card read-only, so it cannot be written to any more (there should be a tab, for that).
- Try another system, preferably a Windows PC, to see if it can read the card.
- Try a USB SD reader, and not the D2.

If you can get the data backed up, then I would probably undo the tab change and then format the card - preferably with the Panasonic Windows utility. I know that you're a Mac user, but that utility really does seem to work wonders with stability issues - I use Ubuntu but the tool works fine in an XP VM image.

Now i have been working all day whit this problem, and it did only get wors!
now i now that the problem is whit my D2,it´s thutch funktion stop to work whit out this SD card,it seams like the files in the operation system fore the screan now laies in my SD card so whit out this card no thing works!
i did try to start the D2 whit out the card and it starts up but i cant control it!
lucky i dident did formate the card yet!
but now i can only juse what i got on my card, and the memory of the D2 seams to be gone!
and it dosent come up if i plug it in to of my macs!
and i have 16,7gig of info on the card my camera says if i try the card ther!(it´s a 16gig kingston SDHC card)but lucky me i did have the card on read only when i did try it in my camera!

i dont now whats happening over ther,no answer in my tread any how,but i see that in the last days ppl seams to starting have problem whit Mac/D2 combos!
Maybe some update in Os-X making a conflict!!
But it shude be a shame if i have to start to juse my Ipod again,or do i have to buy a Pc again just to run my D2!(then i think i will have to think one more time about my head-fi hobby!)
i soon will give bootcamp/7 a try to see if that solve my problems!(but Win7 is so damn expensiv just to try if that solv my problem!)
Well i hope some one over hear sooooon can give me a hint of whats gone wrong!!
it cant be only me that got this problem whit Mac/D2 over hear!
Pleas if some one find a cure, let me now!!
