A friend of mine is out to buy a cheap 2.1 for around $50 for a dorm room.
The market is so effin' saturated with models I have no idea where to go on this. There are hardly any good detailed reviews on them or even comparisons between any of them.
I know, they're $50 speakers and you can't expect anyone to go too deep into them, but still, if you had to pick a $50 desktop 2.1 (you spent all your other money on headphones
) - any picks?
Models he was considering is this strange EagleTech contraption Eagle Arion ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 Soundstage Speakers with Subwoofer and Creative T3200/3100 etc.
