Clip+ vs Fuze

Now that the clip+ has an expandable memory slot, is there still an advantage in getting a fuze over this if I only plan to use it for music files?

More battery life and Rockbox porting is ahead of Clip+ for now.

+ Larger and colour screen.

Better battery, bigger screen, dock availability and probably a tiny bit more powerful headphone out. Fuze had slightly more power over original Clip, probably due to better battery.

Fuze also pairs with amp better due to form factor Fuze + Pico is more convenient and better looking combo comparing to Clip + Pico.

Is the Clip+ smaller than the Fuze and also do these both use the same DAC's ?

I've read that the clip+ actually has a warmer sound than the clip (which sounds identical to the fuze).

Something to consider

It is smaller and these use the same chipset. They are almost the same player in different shapes, sound path and quality is the same.

EDIT: I mistook Clip+ for Clip, and answered about original Clip indeed.

The only prob i have found with the Fuze is that the vol level output seems a touch weak, compared to that of my Zen players, dont know why.

I mean to get a decent hearing level I need to turn the Vol up half way.

Good to know that they actually haven't changed it. The classic Clip is a great little player.
