I think it's interesting that doing something that makes you happy and
doesn't cost money is somehow considered an exception. I guess that's an indicator of how deeply entrenched consumerism is. And no, I'm not immune from that either.

Heh, I used to do that too. First D&D, then GURPS, and a bunch of other stuff besides.
The funny thing is, this stuff doesn't have to be dorky or nerdy or anything that it's usually associated with. These games are made up by the people that play them, and their content and quality depends
exclusively on the people that you have playing with you.
