Don't want to be mean but some stars are not the best looking...my vote is for Geddy Lee from Rush. Any others that have an opinion...I tried to link an early photo but am a computer noob...post a photo to show how you feel. oopsa nevermind about the noob thing.....

(Old) Mick Jagger <- he looks like the white guy hollywood would have gotten to play some kind of native elder way back before they cast natives.

Somehow all these people who are famous do not look ugly to me. Keith looks good to me for someone who has done what he has done. They just look like stung-out rockstars. For their loss of health and life they have given us drug inspired music which will last forever as long as people like it. What was really ugly was seeing Mick J. and Keith R. french kiss many many times in the Rolling Stones Movie that came out about 75. That was something (at 13 years old ) I was not ready for. Haha

I don't think that keith richards is ugly. He certainly hasn't aged well, but after his lifestyle for the last 40 years, he looks damn good.

Don't know if he counts as a "star", but Dino Jr. is pretty damn successful, and J. Mascis is terribly ugly.

My vote is in for Michael Stipe:



He's been going through a distinguished-looking phase of late which is sort of redeeming him but I mean...wtf?

J. Mascis actually lives in my hometown and I've seen him around...he sort of blends in around here.

I don't know that he's unattractive as such, but Phil Collins looks more like someone who would be butcher at Jewel than a rock star.

other than to determine that someone is ugly, was there a point to this thread relevant to the music forum?

I don't think it matters how ugly a rock star is.........they all can get more women than the bulk of us.

I'm not sure what is the purpose of this thread either. We are all different. Like the old cliche, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". There are many reasons why they became rock stars and from what I have seen, looks is not one of the prerequisites.
