It has been rumored that some musicians whose bands have broken up or whose careers are lagging, have been forming duets to take advantage of the quick and lucrative gigs they can get singing at the gambling casinos that are springing up everywhere. Even established personalities are cashing in between tours.
We’ve heard reports that Brittney Spears and Pink will be performing under the name Pop Tarts. Eddie Vedder of Pearljam fame and Tone Loc will be called Toe Jam. The singer formerly known as Prince will team up with Isaac Hayes under the name of Purple Hayes, and Tommy Shaw is hooking up with Keith Richards to form a duet called Styx and Stones.
