The Jerk is a really good movie

I watched the Jerk movie last night on DVD. It's a comedy and I really liked it. You can get it from netflix or probably blockbuster video.

It is a good movie.

Steve Martin at the height of his funny.

I always love the song he sings with the girl.

The Jerk, The Princess Bride, and Spaceballs pretty much define my childhood movie experience with my dad. We used to watch those movies all the time.

Classics, I tell ya.

I wrote off The Jerk without seeing it, then I recently read Stanley Kubrick rated it as one of his favorite comedies! Now I have to rent it!

Funny movie. EPMD even has a song called "Steve Martin" where they talk about this movie.

Big props to mom'n'dad for letting me watch "The Jerk" when it came out. Some of the jokes were over my head at the time, but viewing as an adult revealed it to be a true classic. I love that movie.

My favorite lines:

-- I was born a poor black child...

-- I've got one! I've got a special purpose!

-- I know we've only known each other four weeks and three days, but to me it seems like nine weeks and five days. The first day seemed like a week and the second day seemed like five days and the third day seemed like a week again and the fourth day seemed like eight days and the fifth day you went to see your mother and that seemed just like a day and then you came back and later on the sixth day, in then evening, when we saw each other, that started seeming like two days, so in the evening it seemed like two days spilling over into the next day and that started seeming like four days, so at the end of the sixth day on into the seventh day, it seemed like a total of five days. And the sixth day seemed like a week and a half.

Father: Son, now that your going out into the world, there's something you should know. You see that? (pointing to horse dung)

Navin: Yeah.

Father: That's sh!t. And this: shinola. (pointing to shoe polish)

Navin: Sh!t, shinola.

Hi Spareribs.
No doubt. The Jerk is really a good movie. It is my one of the favourite movies.
But I don't know about its other part. Is it any other part of Jerk movie?

To my knowledge, there is no other part. The DVD edition is the original and complete.
