I Want My Windows 7!

Apparently when I pre-ordered Windows 7 from Amazon back in July, they neglected to tell me that it wouldn't ship right away upon release if I selected Super Saver shipping. Mine's not scheduled to ship until 10/26. I've read reports of people who pre-ordered using two-day shipping who received their's yesterday.

Not fair!

I pre-ordered a Family 3-Pack 2 weeks ago, and they're saying "backorder" from my vendor. Hopefully that's not more than a few days from now.

Makes me glad I got my student copy of 7 pro 64 bit for $30. It's 95% downloaded now.

Well I'm having a problem. Apparently when you download the 64bit version onto a 32bit system the file won't extract fully. There are numerous threads about this happening to many people.

Why can't Microsoft just let me download an .iso file and give me a key?

Sigh.

true, but for 30 quid or bucks you're daft not to go legit. I paid my 30 to go legit as its worth it for any number of reasons... at that price.

I had that problem too - what you need to do is ignore the error - the files are all fully unpacked by that time.

i got mine on thursday im literally partitoning the HDD now and will be installing 7 soon,

apple.. no thanks cant wait to get rid of itunes off my pc, and once i get my new phone, no more apple!

if you have still not recd. your pre-order .... then i think you should still wait ... you would surely receive your order .... dont panic .... and please share your experience on Windows 7 ...because i have heard there a lot of irregularities in Win. 7 .... and resist from upgrading to Win. 7 ... please do let us know ....!!!!
