Audiophile Recordings from Major Jazz Label: What would you guys want?

If a large label like Colombia or Concord decided to come out with a catalogue of Audiophile recordings, what would you guys want?

Lets say these labels took old recordings, hired someone like Steve Hoffman or similar to remaster them, and then offer the records on 24k Gold CD or DVD-A.

What else would you guys want? Vinyl? FLAC downloads off of a website?

Lets get the ideas rolling...

I would like to add that I am proposing this idea to a Major player in the Jazz music industry...

Vinyl and FLAC, the latter via download and preferably high-res. But I prefer the former.

So then you'd be profiteering, without a MOT or sponsor status. Have you read the rules and regulations?

No...
I have no affiliation with any record label and I am not looking to make any money. I am just wondering what people would want.

I would personally like 96k FLAC tracks downloadable and vinyl.

SACD. And vinyl, of course. Hi-rez downloads are nice, too.

But SACD should not be overlooked.

If you check the prices, many new discs sell for $25 and up - a considerable premium over regular CDs and some vinyl.

Also, look at the SACDs sold on eBay. Quality out-of-print recordings often sell for $100 or more. That tells me two things. One, there is demand for the format. Two, people are willing to pay up to $100 for a great recording.

There is also a fairly well established group of audiophiles who buy SACD. We have the players, we have collections, and most of us pounce on good new releases.
