Need help!!!

Thread Starter
I need a good program that I can use to download music to my MP3 player.

I'm told I can use itunes, but haven't quite figured out how to use it with a non-ipod based player.

Windows Media sucks and is painfully slow.

Any help would be appreciated. I know it's been rehashed I'm sure, but I haven't used my MP3 player in a while and would like some decent FREE software

Winamp works well. You can also get older versions of it if you don't like the new one here. OldVersion.com

What MP3 player are you using, does it support drag and drop?

For Ripping CD's you can't beat EAC / Lame, encoded MP3's at 320kbps sound absolutely superb.

For library management many people swear by either Monkey Media or Foobar 2000.

For downloading, I always use bittorent with utorrent as my client. That is if your player is drag and drop.

Media Monkey works well for me. I'm using the Gold (paid) version but I know there's a free version. I too converted over from WMP.

Without knowing so its hard to suggest a suitable application...

I can't handle a player that doesn't support drag 'n drop.

X2 about giving Oldversion.com a visit.

Before having iTunes, I used MusicMatch Jukebox v.7 Deluxe.
