First I've heard about this, No official release date but I will be keeping an eye out.

Normally a big Gomez fan but " A New Tide " didn't do much for me.

I see where you are coming from but I still love it. They are great live also.

ill have to agree with the new Muse Cd as well, i think the only tracks i really liked the first time through was the 3 tracks at the end. Also my biggest dissapointment is Deflorate by the Black Dahlia Murder, its extremely meh, its got nothing on Nocturnal. And the new arctic monkeys cd, Humbug, its absolutely nothing like the previous cd's, and it hasnt really grown on me at all.

Though(maybe off topic) some huge surprises for me on new albums this year, Daisy by Brand New i thought was amazing, much better than the devil and god. Also Crush Love by AFI, i didnt even bother getting it, though i liked decemberunderground, but then some of the tracks came out in rock band so i listened to them, and its actually really good, more rocky, guitar based than december. And the new chevelle CD was also very good, kept the trend up with vena sera, nice recovery from this type of thinking. And the New thursday cd, common existance, came out if february, just found out about it, also very good.

If you like Gomez, avoid seeing them in concert. They're the only concert that my wife and I walked out on when they were here in Houston. They had absolutely no stage presence whatsoever, and we found ourselves simply bored by the performance. I haven't been able to listen to them regularly since then, unfortunately. The live performance tainted my enjoyment of their studio albums.

And I have to agree about the new album. It's not quite as good as How We Operate.

don't worry guys, the new Limp Bizkit will set the new year off right.

Most disappointed by Wilco and Moderat albums. The later just because I set my expectations WAY too high after hearing A New Error.

However, I'd consider either still among the better albums of the year, and they've definitely been spun a number of times.
