Nope too expensive and considerign i have tons of sockets free to use.

it's too expensive and still uses plenty of wires. i don't think it's worth the $100 yet. if you wanted to really make it wireless you would have to get a bunch of adapter/accessories that only fit a few devices (as of now i think) and that'd be even more money.

Read about them. However, your device needs a special battery or converter. I have a shaver that works on the same principle that I bought in Japan 11 years back that charges by induction.

How lazy do you have to be for plugging something in to charge to be a hassle? What are you going to save, enough time to scratch your crotch? Not to mention that induction charges are incredibly inefficient and waste gobs of electricity. (Look it up, gobs is a real scientific unit of measurement)

I'm getting tired of Dermatologists. Will this thing burn skin tags off?

If no, all my personality defining devices come with free wallwarts.

I think it'll definitely sell like crazy in the US. I know people who are already gaga over the thing.

Huge waste of power IMO. Very inefficient to be charging phones, portable game systems and other junk off of. + You need cord or adapters to plug into things that don't have the correct charging system in them already.

My electric toothbrush is the same way.

I've had a toothbrush for years that does the same thing. This is nothing new.

It's probably inefficient and everything I charge already comes with a wallwart. That being my laptop and phone - I see no reason to change.

I have a philips toothbrush that works by charging wirelessly using induction. Works great. This however needs to be universally accepted before it can pick up. Devices would slowly have to support this kind of charging without any additional requirements and eventually it will be a success I think. Its a bit too early to try it out IMO since its still a hassle.

it is not wi-fi, it is charged by induction, which means that you'll need a special attachment for your phone or whatever else you want to charge. This is both bulky and annoying. Right now, the palm pre actually has an option for an inductive charger that doesn't change the shape or size of the device. I think a couple othe phone have it as well. The technology is cool buut the powermat implementation is not.
