Thanks guys!

The soldering-iron I currently have is temperature controled, but not digitaly, but by tips replacement [diffrent magnets].

Will look for Metcal although they seem to be a little bit pricey. If I don't have to spend this extra money, than I won't.

I have a WES51, and a WES50 that is probably from the 80s...35 years old is not that old for a soldering iron, as long as you've got the appropriate tips.

I learned on a Weller WP25 from probably 1972, so it's undoubtedly possible to use an older iron.
