MediaCoder: what do you think of it?

I am looking for free software to convert FLAC to mp3 so I can use the songs with iTunes.

If you are familiar with the "MediaCoder" software, please let me know what you think of it. Thank you.

MediaCoder - more than a universal audio/video transcoder

I have no experience with MediaCoder.
But you have already been given several suggestions in your other thread, so do not understand why you need to make a new thread about more-or-less the same subject.

I love MediaCoder for transcoding videos, but I rarely use it for audio only. I use Foobar for music.

I don't really have a good reason. Honestly, it probably doesn't matter if you're transcoding them to 250 or something.

Actually, I do have a good reason. The main reason MediaCoder sucks for this kind of stuff is it doesn't transfer tags automatically (and I could never really be bothered to get it to work properly).
