WAV ftmfw!

The simple solution for this problem is to reverse the direction of the hard drive platter spin by reversing polarity of the power supply voltage. When properly performed this will actually reverse the data loss process. Many of my 320K mp3 files have actually improved to 640K or better. I believe they will eventually sound better then reality.

You say wav is the way to go, but you certainly dont want too much waves on 1 platter. If you are lucky the bits just fall of. In a worse case the platter may go all wobbly and there is no telling what happens then. These effects are the results of what they call "Binary waves"

Will it go to an infinite bitrate when done a long time? That would be sweet.

They'll approach "God's Voice" status where human ears just can't handle it and heads start blowing up. Ever watch Dogma?

Woah... it may very well be the best way for an audiophile to die!

When audiophiles die, do they go up to the big soundstage in the sky? Or maybe Audiophile purgatory for the less fortunate ones?
That, I do not know. We may have to communicate with the spirits of Audiophilia for us to fathom the kind of heaven that awaits all of us.

Ok, let's all gather round and utter a prayer to the Audiophilia gods.

Why does audiophilia seem like such a naughty word?

i think the speaker guys go to the big soundstage in the sky. us headphoners (those which are not wicked) probably go to the "perfectly dac'd wav files blasting straight into your ears with no space in between" place in the sky.

audiophile purgatory... where bits flip and NORs are NANDs. evil, evil place.
