The wait!

So right now I'm waiting on my new low budget setup. Perhaps I wouldn't call it so low budget knowing it's probably going to be worth almost a grand in total, and it'll breach that with a new sound card.

Waiting for all my new parts is simply agonizing though.

Currently waiting for headphones and accessories to get to CE, and my amplifier from Little Dot to get here. What do you guys do to sate the headphones user in you while you wait for new gear?

I got ahold of Davidzhezhe, apparently it's going to be before the end of the month, so within the next 2 weeks, sometime, and that makes me happy.

What is more, I'm getting an amazing discount on the headphones. Let's say, better than e-prices locally. o.O

SR-325i's with bagel pads? I think I would basically die from that. The SR-325i's are already bright to my ears.

There's plenty of bass there. And I like my phones particularly bright. The SR325i's with the PS1000 pads are VERY similar in sound to the PS1000's, enough that I can't justify the cost. I'll listen to it and compare once more when I go in to make the final purchase... but if you like PS1000's, you'd probably like this setup.

They'll come with bowls, and christina has some comfies. So I should be able to figure out what I like best. I'm getting the "bagels' and the SR325i's for less than I could get SR325i's alone for. And only really used a few times to demo.
