Like an Alfa Romeo 8C, right? The subject was Skull Candy headphones not amps. Could you say the same of the Mona Lisa?

Sound should not be about looks. However, can you really say that among humans and the inherent complexity of psychoacoustics, that it has nothing to do with it? I'd propose that in the context of the skull candy, it could go both ways in that one may love how they look and thus give what they hear more credit that it's genuinely due. In the same vein, one who thinks skull candy HP's are crap and look awful, will not give what they hear the credit they deserve because of a bias that goes in the opposite direction.
This phenomenon isn't restricted to only skull candy or looks. It also relates to the power of suggestion that's inherent in price, prestige, expert opinion etc. etc.In order to take control of your opinion, you first have to come to terms with how it may be influenced. No?
