Building IPOD LOD- recomendations for what wire to use?

Hey All,

I am just about to pick up my first amp and I need a LOD for my iphone. I bought a few OEM ipod dock connectors and I have some spare 3.5mm adapters lating around, but now I need to pick what kind of wire to use in my LOD. I looked at ALO's cryo silver wire but experienced a bit of sticker shock. Does the "superior quality" of this cable really have a noticable impact on sound ( such that it justifies the cost?)

What would you guys suggest using for the wire in my LOD?

Note- I just found a spool of wire labeled: 2-cond 24awg (19/36) SPC 200x 600Volts Extruded FEP Jacket. It has 2 24awg wires twisted together and covered with a braided silver colored metal mesh. Might this be a nice material to use?

Btw- my set up will be:
Iphone 3gs ->custom lod -> RSA Shadow

And/or

Sansa Fuze - > some interconnect(using same wire) -> rsa shadow

Also, if you think it will make a difference in sound or durability, what brand of plugs should I look into using?

Thanks!
