If you could have only 1 Open phone.....which one?

So I'm throwing the question out there: If you could have only one open headphone (regardless of source) what would it be?

(Hopefully the answers to this question help me thin down my collection! )

The Sennheiser HE90 Orpheus Realistically maybe the RS-1 or HD800.

HE90 or O2's (O2's are open right?...they look like it).

Oh...you mean what I can afford? HD650...that's what I have my eyes set on right now.

I don't understand the question. Are you saying you'd build your rig (e.g., source, etc.) around the headphone, or that you want a headphone to be flexible with respect to sources? If the former, you'll get these HD800, K1000 etc. recommendations. If the latter, you might get...well, lots of easily amped, non-fussy options.

How bout if you tell us what you've got, and we can help you cull?

O2MK1 for electrostatic. The HD800s or K1000 if dynamic.

Second tier choices: HD650s, but only with killer amp and source, or HD600s with good amp and source.

I'm gonna one-up you and say the SR80. Sort of because there's is a noticeable difference but mainly because I like the number 80 more than 60

O2s. HF-2 would be second on the list as it sounds good plugged into just about anything.
