Formula 1 (Jenson Button) :-)

Anybody else watch the Brazilian Grand Prix?

I did, and it was absolutely awesome. Jenson Button thoroughly deserves his world championship, with that magnificent drive today. The overtakes on Nakajima and Kobayashi in particular were stunning.

Barrichello played his part of course, by continuing to be the most ridiculously unlucky driver at his home race.

Even ignoring the championship decider, there was huge excitement all the way through the race. Webber's stunning drive, Vettel's moves, the drama of the pit-lane fire, the punch-up with Trulli and Sutil, the Nakajima crash, Hamilton's incredible work all through the race to gain 15 places, as well as his nervy moment in the pit-exit-lane.

One of the most exciting and eventful races in a long while. :-)

I did watch, great drive by Jenson.truth be told, i wanted Rubens to win, that would set up a thrilling final in Abu Dabhi. That being said, he deserved to win the title.Brawn's early dominance this year, made it practically impossible for anyone other than Red Bull to mount a challenge.

Have to just add, the past few Brazilian GP's have been nailbiting and thrilling.I wonder if it's due to the layout of the circuit, or the fact the it's held at the end of the season with everything to fight for.

It was pretty exciting! Hey, the Ferrari almost burnt to a crisp in the pit lane. Wow, that was scary. And what was funny is Trulli getting mad at Sutil after the crash when it was really Trulli's fault. Rubens is unlucky alright. A win from him would have made the final race a nice decider.

What is really starting to be obvious now in F1 is that the cars are more and more reliable and that it seems to be accidents that take drivers out of the race more often than broken mechanics....

Nice race. Let's hope the last one in 2 weeks is equally exciting.

Congratulations to Button, a true gentleman/driver which is what F1 is all about.

I wonder what the octane is of that fuel, that stuff burned incredibly fast.

What a great F1 season! So much change, unpredictability, and just plain fun. It was nice to see Button get his due after so many years. I think the most impressive stat of the year is Ross Brawn, now having led three different teams to the title.

And next year looks to be a blast as well. We'll have the tension of Alonso and Massa together at Ferrari; Vettel attempting to make that final push to the highest level of success; Brawn trying to improve on a fairytale rookie season; not to mention the new teams, and new drivers. And so much more! Is is safe to say I have an F1 boner?

Great Race, Button knew what he had to do and went for it, some of the best overtaking of the season.

I'm really pleased for Jensen..he had so many doubters, he basically took the hotseat from Damon Hill and what a name to live up to, and he hasn't done well for so long due to poor cars and now sat in a decent car (and much credit to Ross Brawn for building a simply fantastic team in such a short space of time) he has shown his true potential. Very glad.

did anyone else notice Lewis looking rather down? not suprising since yesterday he was no longer world champion. Next year should be so exciting..Alsono driving for Ferrari, hopefully mercedes-mclaren getting their car back on track (dump heiki though and bring in Vettel!) and Red Bull and Brawn showing they are now a force to be reckoned with. Oh and Lotus...

edit: wait..Kimi for Mclaren?! woo

He sat in the winner car. In F1 it´s much more car then driver. The drivers job is not to screw up with what he´s in generally. Which is quite easy to do in F1 even if you are extremely talented lol

But he did his job faster then his team mate and even though he seemed to have shakey legs in quite a few races he hold it together nicely. Just look at Hamilton that nearly screwed his championship two years in a row with abysmal driving!

It´s a lot of nerves this late in the season. Combine that with rain and you generally get great races.

Next year I suspect it´s the old story again. McLaren vs Ferrari unless they change the reglement again.

I was also wanting to see Barichello get it. Just because the crowd would have went nuts, and I would have liked to see a showdown in Abu Dabai. One of the most exciting races in F1 was Inter-Lagos last year when Hamilton clinched the championship on the last lap!

That said, I'm glad to see Button get it. Of all the drivers that came and went at the race I was at he was definitely the nicest and best with the fans. Barichello was a close second. It was nice to see a good guy win.

And yes regulations are changing again next year. I've heard to expect the most sweeping changes since the 90's. Could keep it interesting.

Another fantastic grand prix this weekend. Big props to Vettel for his storming win, and to Webber for his magnificent defence over the final 3 laps. Huge congrats to Kobayashi, who has clearly earned his seat for next year, and lastly to JK and Jenson Button, for some world-class swearing-on-live-television.

i wished jb didnt win, i wanted SV to win towards the end. kobayashi is now my fav driver [from last race] and i hope my team [renault] can do better next year!

i dont think brawn will be good next year as they werent a true underdog last season [inherited a 400 million dollar car] so its a bit false, fair but faalse

brazil was the best race but not happy with the results this year :/

Vettel will win one day but I'm completely over his 'special button' rubbish. He can't shut up about it and has mentioned it all year. Get over it you child!

Button was the most consistent driver this year. Good luck to Renault for 2010. . . ..
