Classic products are made in Beijing, China. They are considered one of the better brand for profermance. If you going for the 300B, it is nice amp. If you looking for a headamp, It is just a average amp. Make sure you get the 110V version if you are in US.

The 16.0 is based on the EL34 tube. The 16.2 is the 300B verision. I am looking to use the 300B version as a head amp. Have you heard that one? If not, are you saying that it would be average for cans because you know that the headphone section is driven by op-amps instead of the 300B? Thanks in advance for your info.

Heck if you're ready to spend $2500, why not check out the Red Wine Audio Isabella? I've heard the Signature 30.2 integrated amp, and while it doesn't sound super powerful in loudspeaker systems, I'm sure the Isabella would have plenty of power for a set of headphones. The quality of sound produced by the 30.2 is similar to tubes, but without distortion. It's like silk smooth solid state performance, loads of detail.
