Will the D5000's fit my small head?

I really want to try the D5000's but im concerned about the fit.

I have a small head, for example my HD 650's are almost fully shut on the adjustment for a good fit on my head, i also have Ath M50's and with these fully closed on the adjustment they are slightly too loose.

I cant try the Denon's before I purchase So can any small head people that own these comment??

Also on a side note will my Darkvoice 336se power these ok? or should i look at solid state?

I have a small head too, but probably not as small as yours, judging from the HD650 fit on your head. However the D5000 fits me very well, and if you put on the Jmoney leather earpads, they should fit your head too. They make the phones sit extra tight, because of their size (+1 cm for each pad).

Sounds like an option for me so, where can I get the Jmoney Pads from, is it an easy mod to perform??

I would be careful. My head is on the large side for a girl, but the D7000 just barely fit with the band completely closed. They are still a little loose and I plan to get the Jmoney pads when I can. The D7000 are very comfortable however.

From what I've read the D2000/D5000/D7000 share the same pads and headband. If you could find a D2000 to try for fit that should give you an idea of what the D5000 would be like on your head. I hope they work for you!

Before I put on the Jmoney earpads, I wore the headband with 2 "clics" down on each side. After the new earpads I had to adjust the headband to 4 "clics" down on each side. This means that the Denon would now fit onto even smaller heads.
If you put on a Beyerdynamic DT880Pro headband, the comfort will improve even more, and it will fit on even smaller heads .

Thanks for the Info, sounds like with the Jmoney Mod these will fit my small head, i might just bite the bullet.....

I have the JMoney pads now and I'm wearing the D7000 at two stops down on each side, as opposed to fully closed before. The fit is better, at least for me.
