I don't know. A lot of people enjoy Energy speakers, but I've always found the greatest value and performance in DIY. Keep in mind that there's always a lot of markup and profit in a commercial speaker. You can skip past that in DIY - you can use the best parts and best materials without the labor and additional costs. Of course, you have to add labor, but it's not too bad. Once you're done, you get to enjoy wonderful sound at a bargain price.
